Time for a contest!
Nature_1THEME: Nature + old, traditional drawing/paintingstyles.
WHAT DO WE WANT? In our Nature_1 contest we want you to picture a special moment of nature, something that impressed you and made you aware of its awesomeness.
For example a beautiful sunrise or a sudden encounter with a deer. But either of these are a bit cliché, so be creative!
MEDIA: We don’t want to restrict you too much but it’s important that you achieve a
natural, traditional feel in your piece. So we don’t forbid you to use digital media, but we do advise you to go traditional if you don’t know a lot about effects/brushes/textures in those programs(photoshop, paintshop, Painter etc.)
WE ALLOW: Creativeness! All kinds of traditional paintings/drawings, wood carvings, paintings on wood, sculptures, digital drawings (mind the above), drawings that include text (but do not consist of text only), collages, bodypainting
lolWE DO NOT ALLOW: photography
(of course we DO allow pictures of your artwork if you don’t own a scanner or submit in the ‘bodypaint’/’sculptures/etc. category), things made in MSpaint, things that don’t fit the theme

14th of september and it closes on the
14th of November. This is quite a special date for us, because we’ll go to our first Muse concert on that day! However, if we don’t have a lot of entries, we may consider an extension, mostly because this is the first time we donate something like a subscription.

Now time for the belated oven-burning-story! (written by our special reporter: ~
DarkCrow3)
While we were making up this contest, we became quite hungry so I decided to put some extra cheese on a frozen pizza and put it in the oven.
At least, I was TRYING to put in the oven when I accidentally pushed the baking paper against the element inside the oven (where the heat comes from).
AND IT STARTED TO FUCKING BURN XD Huge flames were coming out of the oven, I called Eva and for five seconds whe just stood there thinking:
OH MY...
Then I called: 'THE PIZZA HAS TO GET OUT!!' So I kind of pulled the pizza out and first the burning got worse so Eva screamed ' PUT IN THE SINK!!'
I dumped the pizza in the sink, with burning paper attached to it, and Eva grabbed a random towel and started hitting the thing like a maniac,
it makes me laugh so hard when I think about it HAHAHA. Anyway when the chaos was over the whole kitchen was covered in cheese and burned baking paper.
So I was trying to clean everything up and then my parents came home and were like 'WTF DID YOU DO?!'.

I like to support my buddies. I donated a prize to another contest just a short while ago but I ended up getting my entry chosen for 1st place so I didn't even have to do it...
I'll donate a traditional ACEO (like the current ones in my gallery, maybe with a different medium, we'll see) to the first place winner. But I doubt I'll be able to ship it.
